As we all know, we are virtually on lockdown for any public meetings, or gatherings. And it is a trying time for all. Having said that, your assignment for week 3 has changed and will be the following:

Choose an organization that holds a shared governance council meeting (shared governance is a venue for members to have a voice in decisions), that usually meets monthly or quarterly. Contact the chair, co-chair or similar lead, and inquire if you can discuss what happens during the meetings, who the members are, and how a decision are made. Maybe find out what was on the agenda as well. In 500-750 words, describe the function of the committee and the roles of those in attendance. determine whether the process used to arrive at decisions is a form of shared governance.

A minimum of two academic references from credible sources are required for this assignment. this assignment uses a grading rubric.
