I’m studying for my English class and need an explanation.

Before interviewing for a job, you must do a job research and find out what the current salary range is. For this letter, you must do this research and compose a letter of negotiating for a salary five thousand dollars more than what is being offered to you by the company. Remember to provide a three clear paragraphs.
