Assignment

Provide at least a 150 word graduate level response to each of the following questions.

1. Formalization is a key element of organizational structure. What is indicated by formalization? Describe the characteristics of a highly formalized organization.

2. One of the main ways that culture is created and maintained within an organization is for the founder to only hire and keep employees who think and feel the same as he/she does. Discuss both the pros and cons of this idea and offer an opinion as to why this system can be effective.

Requirements:

Provide at least a 150 word minimum response for each question.

Use of proper APA formatting and citations. If supporting evidence from outside resources is used those must be properly cited.
