  • Review the Significance section of the sample prospectuses.
  • Review your problem statement, purpose, research question(s), and Framework sections to assure alignment with the Significance.

By Day 3 of Week 7

  • State the Significance of your research.
  • Describe how the Significance is aligned with the problem statement, purpose, research question(s) and Theoretical Framework sections.
  • Provide one example of a “grandiose positive social change claim” that you would not want to make in your Significance section.
