Vroom and Yelton’s Leadership Decision Tree- A Normative Decision Model
I don’t know how to handle this Management question and need guidance.
Essentially, there are five decision making processes with varying participation by the leader. I would not squash the entire model, as one or two of these processes are quiet effective. For example, leaders who do not involve constituents may reap problems. However, there are significant benefits in delegating, consultive, and collaborative approaches. What processes of Vroom and Yelton’s Normative Decision Model do not work in contemporary organizations?
