What do you think of when you think of German food? Sausages would probably come to mind quite quickly. Yet, despite the centrality of sausages to German cuisine, the BBC reports that the number of butcherâ€™s shops in Germany has almost halved in the last 20 years (https://www.bbc.com/worklife/article/20190718-why-young-germans-think-this-career-is-the-wurst).
1) Discuss how TWO of the following three topics: a) Motivation in the Organization, b) Job Satisfaction and Positive Employee Attitudes/Behaviours, and c) Worker Stress and Negative Employee Attitudes/Behaviours can explain the situation described in the full BBC report.
2) Addressing the German Butcherâ€™s Association (an organization formed for the betterment of German butchers), show how your TWO chosen topics can improve the lives of German butchers and the German butchery industry.
